| 2009 Hops, Vines & Grinds |

| "Hops, Vines & Grinds" is a fund raising event of the Duane R. Metcalf Memorial Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization established to help graduating high school seniors of Pahoa area schools by granting scholarships to students wishing to continue their education in a college or vocational program. Since 2001 Pahoa Auto Parts, Inc., and after it's formation the Duane R. Metcalf Memorial Foundation, has awarded 11 scholarships totaling over $10,000 to students graduating from Pahoa High School. The event will feature a variety of food and beverages supplied by local vendors, a craft fair, a silent auction, and the music of Bruddah Waltah and Rupert Tripp Jr.; with a guest appearance by the Kona Band "Chrome Attic". |
